3 Tips for YOU to be Successful with Your Fitness Goals


1. If you are a newbie to fitness or just getting back to a routine. Take one small step at a time... Especially this time of the year folks are all gung-ho. When I sit down with a new client I often have to pull them back and have them add fitness slowly into their lives. For example, if you have a full-time job with two children and a husband it is most likely not very realistic that you will make it to the gym 7 days a week. Remember progress not perfection.


2. You need to find what I call "Your Fitness Love" I bet you are wondering... What is that? Fitness Love is the one thing that will keep you coming back to your wellness routine because it is fun! My advice would be to try many different things like weight training, walking, Yoga, Zumba, or anything that is going to help you stay consistent. Because as I always say consistency is key!


3. Find a fitness buddy (My fitness buddy and I have been friends for almost 30 Years)! Surround yourself with like-minded people who inspire you to keep you going when you are just not motivated. Remember motivation is a fleeting emotion. We get by with a little help from our friends and with that help we can reach our goals!
